I had an unfortunate accident which resulted in severe back pain. I visited numerous doctors & hospitals but without results. The pain killers & medications did nothing to alleviate my pain.

For almost 2 years I suffered from excruciating pain & visited several doctors until thankfully I was referred to QOLS.

My surgery was in Sept 2007 & I am now free of pain & walking normally again, I have returned to work & have resumed every day activities that before my surgery were impossible.

Hi my name is Mick & I would like to share my experience with you.
My tragedy began last year July 8th 2009 while I was working construction, I was standing on a ladder about eight feet up when I accidentally slipped and fell, I landed on my feet then dropped backwards to a sitting position. I felt a sharp stabbing pain in my lower back & was unable to stand for some ten minutes

Jan 2008 I was involved in a motorcycle accident. I fractured my elbow, 4 ribs my clavicle & 2 fingers.  I was on pain medication & rehabilitation for months, however, 3 months after the accident I began to experience severe lower back pain spasms & pins & needles in my leg.

I have a very physical job & do a lot of walking to survey land, I drive heavy machinery but I am back at work all because of the skill, experience & confidence of my Doctor & his amazing team.

My Quality Of Life is at an all time high & I often look back & realize just how fortunate & enriched my life has become due to this surgery.

Here is my story,

In April of 2006, I was in a car accident a bus ran my little car off the road causing my car to hit gravel and flip over 4 times landing in a swamp and breaking my neck.

I was operated on by the doctors at QOLS and was able to recover I’d say about 98% of my motion.  I was paralyzed for a few days and the doctors told my family I might not walk again. My right hand was out of commission & I had feeling in my upper body only.

Today I am able to walk, run and exercise and also get back to work as I was before my accident.

In November 2005 I had an accident slipping on the stairwell at my place of work, I damaged my lower back & was in agony from the fall.

I could barely walk let alone bend over my quality of life was at it’s lowest, I was in extreme discomfort & unbearable pain everyday was an uphill battle for me. I suffered my family suffered however immediately after my surgery I felt instant relief & was free of the pain I had endured. I am today completely recovered, I play basket ball I work out jog & am totally active once again.
